Meals & Activities
We take great pride in serving home-cooked meals from scratch. It is what sets us apart from all surrounding facilities. Our cooks make the difference with their years of experience. We offer individual choices for each meal, something to please everyone.
Our residents enjoy weekly outings to restaurants, fishing, sightseeing and ice cream. We are also very involved in our community with events here at our facility and participation in community events such as Veterans Day ceremonies and Mother's Day Tea. Our days are filled with things like bingo, cards, movies, crafts and listening to live music. Many of our residents enjoy sitting outside on our decks admiring our flower gardens and bird watching. We also offer church services, Bible visits and regular visits from local clergy.
"I have lived here at Hickory Creek for 5 years. I think this is a nice place to live and we have all the help we need. I love it here and I think the staff does a great job. I have made very good friends here with other residents and staff. It gets better and better and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. "
